Out of the many destination weddings in Destin Beach I’ve seen, Jolynn and Freddy’s union was so powerful and tug at everyone’s heartstrings. The groom shed a few tears when he saw his lovely bride walking towards him, looking like a princess, complete with a sublime, majestic tiara resting on her head. ‘We’ve been through so much together, honey,’ she said as they started their vows. It seemed like they both felt it was nothing short of a blessing and a miracle that they have been able to come so far. Any wedding cinematographer would have been able to see and capture the true love in their eyes and the joy they couldn’t hold in.
The groom had been in the military and they had both waited so patiently to be reunited and this day was truly a culmination of all their dreams. Even the bride and groom silhouette cutout cake toppers were holding rifles! Many weddings in Destin Beach are not half this romantic so it was a privilege to be there as a Florida wedding videographer.
‘I vow to be the man you need and to always be true and faithful,’ said Freddy in his vows as they shared a kiss and were one forever. The couple had so many people who deeply cared for them, the wedding was attended by the groom’s brotherhood as well. When the groom arrived at the reception at the Emerald Grande at Harborwalk Village, the whole family was lined up on the balcony to wave to them. There were many teary moments in the wedding as the couple had been through a lot and the groom said ‘I didn’t even think I would get to be here.’ So there was this whole story behind this glorious wedding day that really shook every guest to their core. As the couple cut their gorgeous 3-tiered topped with a dozen fondant white roses, it was a joyous realization that they had made it.
