Shatavia and Antwon are both from North Carolina but just like us, they love a Florida beach wedding so they got married right here in Destin! And we were there to share in this experience and create for them an awesome wedding film they can cherish forever.

Theirs was an evening wedding, and although the ceremony was planned for the late afternoon, it happened much earlier because of suspected rainy weather, still, nothing ruined this perfect day and it all went smoothly. They had their wedding ceremony on Crystal Beach, a colorful event surrounded by many friends and family.

From what we saw, these two are the perfect definition of ‘happily married’ we loved seeing how comfortable and free they were with each other as they took their vows laughing with big smiles on their faces. The sugar-white beaches and Emerald waters were the perfect backdrops for this elegant beach wedding.

They had a simple wedding arbor constructed with bamboo and white drapes, decorated with white and peach florals. After taking their vows they also had a sand ceremony and a dove release symbolizing their new union, harmony, and peace.

This couple looked just breathtaking with Shatavia in her flowy white gown and jewelry, perfectly complemented by Antwone’s soft pink tux. We also loved the bridal party’s look, Shatavia’s bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their champagne dresses and pink bouquets. They paired beautifully with Antwon’s groomsmen in their sky-blue. ‘

After the ceremony, they had a cocktail hour followed by an elegant reception at Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin, the first all-suite hotel in Hilton Destin, loved by couples for providing some of the most memorable beach and ballroom wedding experiences.

Their first dance was simply electric, they were perfectly in sync with each other and shared the same energy. We may have witnessed a few tears as Shatavia listened to a beautiful toast given by one of her bridesmaids.

This couple’s family and friends came all out to support them on their big day, and they were blessed with many guests that livened up the dance floor as the evening progressed. We’re so glad we got to capture and present this energy in their wedding film, a testament to a fun-filled experience they’ll be on for the rest of their lives.
