Emerald Grande Wedding in Destin | L+J

Attending the wedding of two people who feel blessed to have found each other is always a delightful experience and Leighton and Jacob’s wedding was all that and more. They got married on the picturesque captain’s deck at the Emerald Grande in Destin beach on a very sunny and joyful day. As a Destin Beach FL wedding videographer, it was very fulfilling to cover the couple’s first look and all their memorable moments at the ceremony from the bride walking down the aisle to the vows. Before the ceremony, the mother of the bride held a beautiful group prayer for the couple’s happiness. A gorgeous photo shoot followed and the couple took a boat to the beach and read letters written by each other on the way. In the ceremony, the guests had the option to take communion too! ‘There are no sides, we are all family once the knot is tied’ was a beautiful quote written with chalk right at the reception and there were several thoughtful, personal touches like that, that you can find in wedding films.

The reception for Leighton and Jacob was held in the Harborview room that overlooks the scenic Destin Harbor where the couple shared dances with their parents as well as their own first dance. ‘We are so grateful for your presence, we appreciate the sacrifice of time and travel,’ said the father as he began his speech. The bride’s younger brother made his own artistic contribution to his sister’s wedding by singing a beautiful song and everyone was struck by his talent and affection. The couple valued every tradition from tossing the bouquet to throwing the garter and their special day ended with a magnificent beach ball exit that should be a recurring feature in weddings in Destin Beach.

Hello. My name is Leighton and I am a newlywed. I got married in August and Dalton Young Weddings did our videography. We literally found them online. I was planning a destination wedding in Florida and I don’t live there, so I had to coordinate everything remotely Dalton Young was awesome. Him and his wife showed up at our wedding, day of, and everything went so smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The booking process was super easy. I definitely messaged him and he created a custom package for me and was super communicative beforehand. And then when we got there, everything went seamlessly day of. My husband, who is clearly not with me in this video right now, doesn’t like talking on film, but he made him feel super comfortable about putting a microphone on to record the audio. And he got it back to us in a timely fashion and we love it. And we were just sitting together, reliving the memories from our big day. And we could not have more good things to say.
