Sydney and Devin got married right on the beach in Okaloosa Island Florida (between Destin Florida and Fort Walton Beach Florida) under the glistening palm trees and with the glorious sand underneath their feet with the rolling waves over the horizon. The bride wore a stunning princess-like gown adorned with little gems and glitter all over and she was overcome with joy to be united with the love of her life who had been away with the military. It was a day of family and loved ones and as the officiant said ‘we are thankful for this beautiful day,’ which it truly was with the sun shining, the seagulls flying and the waves ever rolling in the clear blue water.
This wedding held all the Okaloosa Island Florida weddings that day in awe at the joy that was exhibited by every guest present. The theme and style of the wedding were classic feminine boho and shabby chic with sublime white roses, foliage, lots of pink and beach-style white furniture, and a lot of fairy lights and lanterns. Devin the groom really found his ideal mate in Sydney as she is both loving and dearly supportive as her new mom-in-law aptly pointed out.
It was nothing short of a match made in heaven and any wedding cinematographer would be happy to have captured it. The palm trees and the night sky as the ceremony turned into the reception were a joy for Okaloosa Island wedding videography. Tatum, who is Devin’s daughter, was thrilled to have found a new mommy in Sydney and the bride made a heartfelt speech about what Tatum meant for her which was something you don’t often see at weddings in Okaloosa Island. The reception was a time for warm, profound speeches in particular by the groom’s mom who said what a gift her son had been ever since ‘I laid you in my arms.’
