Emily and Dominic came in from Ohio to get married on the beach and partake in the rich tradition of destination weddings in Destin Beach Florida. The couple wrote each other profound and honest letters ‘Emily, I can’t believe this day has finally come, the day I get to officially call you my wife, the day I can accept you and all your family as my own, the day I can gain all the trust from your father as I take over responsibility as your protector. The day I get to cherish you and love you as not only my wife, but my other half, the missing piece that completes life’s puzzle.’ Out of the many vows and letters I’ve heard in my time as a Florida wedding videographer, this one was truly memorable and wonderful.

A truly priceless moment in the wedding films was the first look of the bride as the groom burst into tears and it was a heartfelt experience for me as a wedding cinematographer and the loved ones that were around. The kind of deep commitment this couple shares is astounding and an absolute inspiration. The groom reading the bride’s letter before the ceremony was also a teary moment ‘I’ve prayed my whole life to find a man like you,’ wrote the bride.

A beautiful beachside ceremony at Henderson Beach State Park followed with rustic chic accents such as painted wooden lanterns and flowing silk secured with twine to bamboo pillars that made up the altar. The officiant asked the groom to repeat some vows ‘I will cherish our union, I will love you and respect you…’ The reception was held at the beach house, lots of dances were shared between the couple and their parents. A fun informal shoe game followed and the wedding turned out to be a ton of fun for all the guests.
