Located in the heart of historic downtown Dothan in Alabama, this venue is knowns as one of Southeast Alabama’s most elegant places to hold your wedding. The Grand on Foster has provided couples and their guests with unforgettable wedding experiences since 2010.

This stunning venue has a rich history which characterizes its vintage-style design and grand, and even more amazing, the building it is located in is over 120 years old. Its exposed brick walls, fine European antiques, and bespoke chandeliers give the venue a classy touch of elegance and refinement.

Event Space

They have various event spaces, including three spacious ballrooms; the Upstairs Ballroom can host 120 guests. This space has wonderful views of The Courtyard and Foster Street and two draped balconies to use as a background for some pretty amazing wedding photos.

The Orleans Ballroom can host 130 guests and features an open floor plan which you can use to let out your creativity. It also has a Brazilian Cherry dancefloor and ceilings decorated in historic moldings. It is perfect if you would love to add a touch of vintage style to your event.

The St. Charles Ballroom can accommodate 130 guests and is furnished in pieces from the Italian renaissance. It also has an early 20th Century American Gothic stained glass window and pine flooring.

For larger weddings, they offer the Courtyard, which can host 300 guests (it is also their largest event space). The Courtyard boasts a 14-foot fountain, secluded balconies, and a bar that was formerly a jewelry vault. For smaller events, couples can book the Parlor, which can host up to 20 guests. All of their spaces are known as “raw spaces” and are very accommodating to your wedding design dreams and vision.

Services and Amenities

They have the most experienced event planners in the tri-state area, so you are assured your wedding is being handled by the best. In addition, they have a Bridal Parlor where the bride and her party can get ready. The Parlor is furnished with gold leaf mirrors, a beautiful Persian rug, and comfortable seating.

Booking also includes tables and Chiavari chairs and setup and clean-up services. They also have an in-house bar and can set up lighting and sound. In addition, they grant access to Wi-Fi and parking in seven separate locations conveniently located near the venue.

They also provide a Preferred Vendor list of service providers you can hire for your weddings, such as caterers, florists, or photographers.
