On a lovely Saturday, Alexis and Dale got married in a brief but beautiful wedding ceremony on the Sunset Deck at the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village, surrounded by many friends and family. One of the first things that stood out to us was the lovely shades of pink almost all the women were wearing, creating a beautifully color-coordinated aesthetic among the guests.

Their wedding ceremony happened under a clear Destin sky which gave a beautiful backdrop to their wedding ceremony. We also couldn’t help but notice how visibly breath-taken Dale was as Alexis walked down the aisle to meet him. And we understood him, she made such a beautiful bride. She also added an amazing personal touch to her outfit with sparking and bedazzled sneakers that let her dance her wedding night away at the reception.

In between the ceremony and reception, we got some wonderful shots with the newlyweds on the beach before heading to the Captain’s Deck for the lively reception that followed. One thing we and the many couples we’ve worked with that got married at the Emerald Grande is their beach. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Destin, with charming scenery, perfect for relaxed yet elegant wedding photos.

We’ve worked with a few couples who chose to have an outdoor wedding ceremony but an indoor reception at the Emerald Grande. Alexis and Dale, however, hosted their reception outside as well from the late afternoon till evening. Looking at how lively the night was, it definitely was a great option.

They treated their guests to vibrant live performances, and there was lots of dancing. It seemed that hardly any guest could keep their feet off of the dance floor. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of a celebration as large as their love. Alexis also had a heartwarming dance with her son as the night drew to an end.
