About the Venue
Located just an hour outside Destin, FL, Laurel Hill Farm is a wonderful family-owned venue, and many couples have used it to host lovely, rustic Destin weddings. Brides love it for its unique environment for weddings and other private social events. In addition to operating as a Desting wedding venue, Laurel Hill Farm is a working equestrian farm that grows and sells bale hay for horses. It also has stables for a limited number of horses.
This wedding venue is perfect for a Destin wedding with authentic farm flair, the owners assure brides it’s the closest they’ll get to a “glamorous Kentucky Equine wedding spot” in Northwest Florida. Their 40 acres of grassland are perfect for hosting an outdoor wedding, the venue has various outdoor wedding ceremony sites with a romantic setting.
Event Spaces and Facilities
The Grand Ballroom
Laurel Hill Farm has a grand ballroom that can host up to 300 seated guests and more for a standing event. It’s excellent for large receptions. The grand ballroom was converted from former stables into a beautiful event space with cooling and heating facilities – great for any Destin wedding in any weather. It has large, luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings, authentic western farm-style decor, and a bar (which also used to be stable).
Access to the grand ballroom includes a kitchen area and separate restrooms for men and ladies. It also has a spacious apartment upstairs that you can use to get ready before the event. You can download the layout of the grand ballroom from their website to help you plan your wedding event design.
The Saloon
For a more intimate event, their authentic western-inspired Saloon, a private room, is the perfect venue, especially if you want to incorporate a rustic look or atmosphere to your wedding. The Saloon boasts a beautiful view of their paddocks, barn, and arena. The Saloon is decorated with classic strong lights that span to a spectacular outdoor area designed for private dining under the stars.
Inside, the Saloon has an exposed beam with a beautiful finish, wood walls, lounge furniture, and a covered dancefloor. It also has a 45-foot-long solid granite bar. True to the theme of the space, the bar has Western saddles that serve as unique bar stools. In addition, it also has a large flat screen TV – in case you want to showcase a heartwarming video montage. It also has a handicap-accessible newly-built restroom facility. Bridal Suite
Laurel Hill Farm has two private rooms for the wedding party to get ready in. Their Bridal Suite has a full kitchen and dining area with a beautiful porch that looks out to the farm. It also has a lookout view to The Grand Ballroom and is the perfect spot to spend your last moments as a single woman with your friends and family before the big day. It’s perfect for spending the night before your wedding and has a comfortable bed, ample living room space and seating, and a full bathroom.
The Groom’s Room
Laurel Hill Farm converted their tack room into a Groom’s suite where the groom and groomsmen can prepare for the wedding. Access to The Groom’s Room comes with a Gran Ballroom wedding booking. The suite features wood paneling, overstuffed leather chairs, a sofa, a bar, and a TV. The atmosphere is topped off with scents of oiled saddles and boots, perfect for the men of the family to gather around before the main event.
The Kids’ Corral
If you’re considering allowing children at your wedding, then you’re in luck. Laurel Hill Farm has a unique space where children can have their own spot and chill out during the festivities. If you book your wedding in their Grand Ballroom, you are also granted access to a Kids’ Corral with Western children’s saddles and a TV in case they (or you) want a break from the main event.
